A Message from your new National Chairman - Pete Hawkins

Hi all,

I'd like to say Thank You all for your lovely messages about my new role within the association as National Chairman and I would like to congratulate Fabio Capozzi & Brian Jones on their continued work within their roles as National Secretary and National Treasurer. I would personally like to thank the exiting chairman Alan Marshall for all the hard work he has put in over the last two years.

Firstly I would like to apologise on the delay of this announcement due to us having a very busy stand at BPM. Thank you to all the members who visited us and everyone who took a shift on the stand. It was great to see so many at the National AGM of which we had an increase in numbers. For those who had other commitments and couldn't attend the show I look forward to seeing you all at your branches over the coming year.

I'd like to let you know of a few changes that was anounced during my welcome speech, I felt that at branch level we needed the support so I suggested to add some co-opted members and these were:

Marketing & P.R - Tony Winyard
Education & Training - Alan Marshall
Events & Branch Development - Steven Honeyball
Merchandise Officer - Sue Crean
Web & Comms - Paul Arnett

Finally we are looking at a Membership & Benefits Officer You all may know John Forbes stepped down back in April 2016 and we are looking someone to fill that position to look at after our membership and benefits. So if you know of anyone please let us know.

If you have any questions, please do get in touch, I'm always at the end of the phone, on social media or email - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

All the best your Chairman,

Pete Hawkins

Working hard over the festive season
seasons greetings

The team here at the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) would like to wish all of our members and DJs across the planet a very successful Festive Season and a great New Years Eve.  As this is a busy period for us all, the team of volunteers at NADJ are busy with the workload that December brings, and of course we all look forward to some family time too, so we are asking our members to allow us some leeway over the Christmas and New Year period.

While no firm dates have been set for our festive break from our duties, such as dealing with enquiries, membership processing and general advice from members and non-members, we will be taking some time off and we hope that you will understand if responses to e-mails take a little longer than normal.  We encourage all members to make sure that their membership subscriptions and PAT test documents are up to date in advance of the public holidays. We have a system in place that sends out several e-mail reminders about membership subscriptions and the expiry dates of the annual PAT test documents that are conditions of membership.  We hope that you are busy with your DJ business and we also hope that you will deal with any business matters in a timely and prompt fashion.

The NEC and their team of dedicated volunteers at NADJ would like to wish everyone all the very best for the Festive Season 2016.
